Don’t make idols
Idols are things that take the place in our lives reserved for God – not necessarily wrong in themselves, but in the importance that we place on them.
We are going to look at three types of idols:
- made idols (graven images)
- marketplace idols
- mental idols
Where do we draw the line between things that are are acceptable and those things that edge God out from his rightful place in our lives?
Does this have any relevance to the way we worship – or expect others to worship?
How can we deal with it?
