Don’t murder
The Bible says “Do not murder” - but what does that mean?
Is meat murder?
What about soldiers in war?
When things really matter - people get worked up, but we need to get our thinking around the Bible. So we ask the question “what does the Bible have to say” and it is very clear do not murder!
What does it mean though?
It is about taking human life not animal life.
There were circumstances where there was lawful killing - for example, self defence against an armed intruder.
Every single one of us is made in the image of God - and by showing respect for one another, we show respect for God - and that should have some impact.
