We can become comfortable – but we need to walk together and work at being made holy.

In 1 Thess 4:1-12, the apostle Paul tells us how to live for God … and the word “live” here means something like “walking together”.

• There should be a certain restlessness in our walk with God – wanting to get to the next step.
• “Philadelphia” – not the dairy product – means brotherly love, a genuine affection for each other – something that we express as a community.

So what does this mean? We need to have a relationship with one another – we need to be accountable to each other.
