• People who have babies or are ill .. get catered for..
• coffee
• welcoming
• helping/visiting Ellen and others
• chairs team!
• teaching - an act of love
• housegroups
• worship
• prayer ministry
• teccies

How do we listen to God?

• reading Bible
• prophecy
• noticing creation
• picking up “the buzz” - listen to community
• talking to people
• sharing experience
• praying - and answers to prayer
• looking for open doors
• “gut feeling” - listen to ourselves
• teaching - “sermonettes”
• silence - waiting - meditation

How do we listen to ourselves?

• does our opinion matter (our mind)
• listen to our bodies
• not easy - but important
• strong emotional reaction

How do we listen to each other?

• stop talking
• respecting (not necessarily accepting) other viewpoint
• sometimes we can’t agree on stuff
• men and women are different … may need to stop doing stuff to listen
• concentrating on the other person
• feedback and understanding (or not)
• reading body language
