Idols are things that take the place in our lives reserved for God – not necessarily wrong in themselves, but in the importance that we place on them.
We have five core values – a young church, a generous church, a church engaging with the community, a church of prayer founded on being a church serious about discipleship. So how do we get there?
Is being young something to do with physical age, or more how you feel?
In the final part of this short series, Kev Clark ties together some of the thoughts about discipleship that have been presented in the previous talks – this time looking at how if we are serious about discipleship we have a individual responsibility but the church has an important role to play.
Over the next three weeks we will be looking at John 14:1-4 where Jesus tells His disciples, and us, not to be trouble but to trust Him. We are in a new home. What can we learn from this passage where Jesus talks about the place that is being prepared for us?
