Plans to prosper us
July 08th, 2007What does God mean when he says he has plans to prosper us? As we have seen in the news recently, our stuff can be washed away in seconds. We want prosperity that lasts forever
We have a number of themes - these vary by season, but there are some common threads…
We are Ordinary People with an Extraordinary God and we are Journeying Together.
What does God mean when he says he has plans to prosper us? As we have seen in the news recently, our stuff can be washed away in seconds. We want prosperity that lasts forever

Right from the start of the Book of Genesis it is clear that we are not meant to be alone - that we need companionship and community.
Jesus sent out the disciples in twos in Mark 6:7-13 because then people would not only see two Christians they would see a small Christian community.
What is an atomic bomb in our community? What is the thing that causes massive destruction? In Amble, Northumbria, it is a culture that has given up on God and a church that has given up. Maybe 200 people out of a community of 6000 people go to church on Sundays.
